En Route. The stops along my journey.

It's been too long since my last adventure. It is time I head to a new continent. Starting in Zimbabwe and heading to South Africa I am hoping to enjoy nature, camping and the big 5. I havent really experienced a lot of African culture and I can't wait to fully endulge in what is to come. Sleeping under the stars and being "one with nature" is something I truely look forward to. It is something we hardly do anymore.

Vic Falls and South Africa

Starting off at the breathtaking Victoria Falls it is a great start to what I believe a vast variety of landscape. At the Hwange National Park I will pay the famous elephants and lions a visit from an open-air 4x4. We then head on to Bulawayo and Matobo National Park, where we will be tracking rhinos on foot with an expert guide - incredible right? We then go and visit a the Hananwa people at a small village in South Africa's Limpopo province. I cant wait to dive into their culture and listen to their stories while munching on a traditional feast. Then we learn a little about the civilisations that formed in the Mapungubwe National Park area in the 13th century. After that we head to Kruger National Park, known for its big 5 - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino. Here we will stay and I am so excited for a night game drive!

On our way back to civilsation or as some would call it Johannesburg, we will stop along the way to take in the amazing Blyde River Canyon - gigantic, lush and green!
